Our story really did start with a dog named - Dexter.
He was a fun loving spirited little guy – part Boston terrier and part Staffordshire terrier – who stole the hearts of all he met.
Then came the “Deli” – when we opened San Diego’s first natural pet food store in 1996 in Del Mar, California. Who knew that 25+ years later it would still be a thing? Each Dexter’s Deli store is a neighborhood gathering place, where our mission is to improve the lives of dogs and cats naturally – it’s that simple.
