Why we feed?

GLM (green lipped mussels) are densely packed with Omega 3s (DHA, EPA), that help with inflammation and brain health. Unlike other seafood, they are considered a superfood that also contains antioxidants, proteins, and minerals.

How to feed?

Green lipped mussels make a great topper and a great treat. Feeders will commonly cook or steam them a bit to get the shell to pop open - remove the shell and feed! They are a nice size and easy to crumble on top of your dog’s food as well if you feed them air dried or dehydrated!

GLM is only found in New Zealand and have been utilized by the people there for many years. Blue mussels are a thing, and although there are slighty different benefits, GLM's come in 1st!
