E-collar
A training collar is used on dogs to deliver stimulation to correct unwanted behaviors.
What it is?
E-collars are training devices that help modify a dog's behavior by using remote-controlled stimuli. These stimuli can range from a mild electric pulse (often called a "shock") to vibrations or audible sounds. E-collars are typically used for obedience training or to correct unwanted behaviors, such as excessive barking, aggression, or recall issues (failure to come when called).

How to use?
The e-collar should fit tight, and the contact points should be on the side of the neck. It should sit higher on the neck, not as high as the prong, but a bit below. Incorrect e-collar fitting, fitting too loose and the contact points don’t touch, renders it useless.
Additional info?
While e-collars can be effective training tools, they are often controversial. Some trainers and experts believe they can cause stress, fear, or aggression in dogs if not used properly. For this reason, it's important to use them with guidance from a professional trainer and to follow humane, positive training practices.
