Pork heart
The heart is a muscular organ found in all vertebrates. It is responsible for pumping blood throughout the body via the circulatory system. Its primary function is maintaining a continuous flow of oxygen, nutrients, and other essential substances to tissues and organs while removing carbon dioxide and other metabolic waste products.
Why we feed?
Pork heart is a nutritious organ meat that can be fed to dogs as part of a balanced diet. It is high in protein and rich in essential nutrients, including B vitamins (such as B12), iron, zinc, phosphorus, and taurine—a vital amino acid that supports heart function, eye health, and overall cellular health in dogs.

How to feed?
The heart is rich in specific nutrients like taurine, B vitamins, iron, and coenzyme Q10, which are excellent for health but can become excessive if fed in high amounts. Consuming too much heart meat can lead to imbalances, particularly in nutrients like taurine, which is beneficial but doesn’t need to be present in large quantities.
