Kennel Cough
Kennel cough is a canine respiratory infection known as infectious tracheobronchitis.
Causes?
Bordetella Bronchiseptica and the canine parainfluenza virus cause the infection. It can be transmitted by aerosols released when sick animals cough, by direct contact with an infected animal, or by sharing contaminated objects. It is highly contagious and spreads quickly at boarding facilities, animal shelters, and dog parks.

Treatment and Preventation?
How to treat kennel cough depends on the severity of clinical signs in mild cases; no medication is given, and it runs its course like the common cold. In more severe cases, oral antibiotics and cough suppressants can be given. It can sometimes turn into pneumonia, so monitor for symptom worsening.
